Adjust the sliders for a live preview. Runs entirely in your browser β your image is never uploaded.
Quick answer
This tool applies adjustable image filters β brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia, invert, and blur β to a photo with live sliders, then exports the result. It uses the browser's native canvas filter engine, so editing is instant and your image is never uploaded. Set each slider to taste and download a PNG; reset returns every filter to its neutral default.
Formula & method
Each slider maps to a CSS filter function applied to the canvas before the image is drawn: brightness(), contrast(), saturate(), grayscale(), sepia(), invert(), and blur(). The filters compose in one pass at the image's full resolution, so the preview you see is exactly what's exported. Neutral values (100% for brightness/contrast/saturation, 0 for the rest) leave the image unchanged.
Examples
- Input
- Grayscale 100%
- Result
- A monochrome photo
- Why
- Removes all color while keeping tonal detail.
- Input
- Sepia 60%, contrast 110%
- Result
- Warm, aged tones
- Why
- Sepia plus a touch of contrast gives a retro feel.
- Input
- Brightness 130%
- Result
- A lighter image
- Why
- Values above 100% brighten; below 100% darken.
When to use this tool
- Quickly fixing a photo that's too dark, flat, or oversaturated.
- Converting an image to grayscale or a sepia/vintage style.
- Adding a blur for backgrounds or to soften an image.
Common mistakes
- Pushing brightness or contrast to the extremes, which clips highlights and shadows to flat white or black.
- Stacking heavy blur expecting to recover detail later β blur is destructive once exported.
- Forgetting to reset before trying a different look, so effects unexpectedly combine.
Frequently asked questions
What filters can I apply?
Brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia, invert, and blur β each with its own slider and a live preview.
Is the preview the same as the download?
Yes. The filters are applied to the canvas at full resolution, so what you see is exactly what's exported.
Does it upload my photo?
No. Filtering happens locally in your browser using the canvas; the image never leaves your device.
How do I undo?
Drag a slider back, or click Reset filters to return every value to its neutral default.
What format is the output?
A PNG, which is lossless. Convert it to JPG or WebP afterwards if you need a smaller file.
Can I combine effects?
Yes β all sliders apply together, so you can, for example, brighten and add sepia at once.
